My MacroConcerns

In this page you will find things that concern me. However, these are issues that are of a national and global scope, thus the prefix Macro. I am concerned about issues that attempt against the dignity/sanctity of the human person. I am concerned when governments ignore and forget about the dignity and sanctity of the human life. I am concerned when governments enact laws and policies that take us through the path of dehumanization, like in Hitler's Germany:

I have not personally been a victim of this one. I am alive.

A very simple concept: The rights of the weak, in this case the unborn child, supersede the privacy rights of the body hosting the creature (the mother). Abortion is thus violence to the weak and the innocent, the unprotected and defenseless, a grave injustice.

A 21st century American Catholic parent might reply: "I understand what you say, but if I tell my children abortion is murder, I am going to make them feel guilty." My reply: "Would you rather make them feel guilty and have them go to confession, or, would you like to turn them into relativistic sociopaths? The consequences is going to be a society where the Dictatorship of Relativism will rule. Creating murderers without guilt and remorse is going to be a very heavy burden to our future generations. The implications and backslash is going to devastate the West as we know it."

I am not a democrat, I am not a republican. I am a catholic and I have not yet found a political party in the USA that represents all my beliefs and my convictions without asking me to compromise. However, there will be such a party in the future.
