Hispanic Are you Hispanic living in California? Do your colleagues make you feel unwelcomed and tell you to go back home --when in fact you have been living in California for decades and paying all your taxes? Do they hurt you with those comments? Do you feel discriminated against for being Hispanic? Do they go too far in their jokes and remarks? If the answer is yes, you need to remind your colleagues what the geopolitical map of the USA used to look like in 1850. Tell them that they are making you feel like a foreigner in what you regard as your own land. Tell them you feel you have a right to be here based not only in the legality of your situation and the taxes you have been paying, but also in the historical heritage of the land.
