My Catholicism December 14, 2008 I would love to share with you what my Catholicism is all about, for it sure feels weird to be a Catholic. It feels like today's Gospel reading: “A voice that cries in the wilderness.” (John 1, 6-8. 19-28) That is the way I feel. It feels as if I was carrying a message that nobody around me understands (not even some American Catholics). Let me share it by means of making analogies and comparisons. That might help you understand. The Pledge of the Alliance vs. the Creed Every time I go to a meeting here in the US and people say the pledge, it gives me the sensation they are praying the Creed in front of the Eucharist. It is a funny sensation to see so much devotion and reverence to the US Flag. I could not do that, for I already give such reverent devotion to the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist. So, when I am amongst them, I am respectful, for I understand that for Americans the Kingdom of God is their Nation, or so it seems. The United States of America, as the most powerful nation on Earth vs. the Kingdom of God and His Christ That is another place where I do not fully understand the American mentality. Americans do certainly believe their nation is some sort of Godly kingdom established by messengers of God, which are the George Washington, Jefferson and all the fathers of this country. To compare it, I would like to mention that Christ established a Kingdom here on Earth according to the Gospels, and the Catholic Church (Declaration Dominus Iesus). He gave that kingdom to his disciples. The Church has been ruling and governing the Earth since then with Iron Scepter, as written on the Book of Revelation. The Catholic Church is the Millennial Kingdom of Christ on Earth. Thus, the Church rules the Earth thorough prayers and, like the Borg (science fiction characters), has been assimilating all cultures, nations and races unto itself. Elaborating, I would add that the Church has the power to control all the elements on creation, including Nature and its weather system. It also controls the Sun (Fatima message) and Earthquakes. It controls the stars and meteors on firmament. In addition, there are Angels and Archangels circling the Earth, and I am not referring to US Military Satellites in geosynchronous orbits. Therefore, I conclude that in my conception of the Kingdom of God, I consider the Church to be the most powerful kingdom on the face of the Earth and beyond. It rules it with Iron Scepter. For instance, those nations that do not render tribute to the Church suffer the consequences, as it is written about the Millennial Kingdom of Christ in the Book of Revelation. Recent proof of that is the fall of the USSR. It could be said with certainty that the Kingdom of Christ is a continuation of the Biblical history of the Nation of Israel. Better yet, the fulfillment of the prophecy of who Israel really is: the Catholic Church is the New Jerusalem that descends from Heaven. By now, the non-Catholic Christian reader is probably completely lost and outraged. That is because the protestant Christian has been taught to believe that the Kingdom of Christ will be established in the Second Coming of Christ and that the Throne of God, and Nation that will rule the World, is Israel (many US Christians actually believe this, including W.). That is the typical scatological view Anglo protestants have. White Anglo Saxon Protestants (and those under their influence) see the future of Israel as ruling the world, and, the USA being the military power defending “The Messianic Kingdom on Earth.” I disagree with that perspective, for I consider it to be merely political. You see, Protestants do not have a Messianic Kingdom on earth yet, for they deserted from the Catholic Church which is the actual and true Kingdom of the Messiah on earth (AKA the Kingdom of Christ). Thus, the Protestant Scatology is a story fabricated to cover up for the Dissent and Excommunication of Henry VII and the nation of England. It is a very old distortion of the truth that has feed the English speaking masses for the last 500 years, since the discovery of America. However, the truth is that Henry VIII separated England from the Catholic Church because he grew with envy. The reason for that envy is that back then the Pope had divided the world, East and West, in between the Spaniards and the Portuguese (in the so called Treaty of Todesillas). The Spaniards got the West, and the Portuguese got the East. The longitudinal line dividing the world, from North to South, is where Brazil is located at. That is why they speak Portuguese in Brazil (no wonder!). So, Henry VIII grew angry/envious for he was not included in the inheritance the Pope had just given. As a result, he deserted from the Church and became a pirate stealing every thing he could get his hands on. As educated people know, Spain was the largest of all kingdoms, and the SUN DID NOT SET IN ITS DOMAINS, for it encompassed the whole Earth. By the way, that saying was stolen by the British together with Catholic Spanish Properties throughout the world. So, there you have it! Now you can understand why I have tremendous difficulties buying the rhetoric that the USA is the Kingdom of God on Earth, and that the Queen of England is the Pope and precursor of the second coming of the Messiah. I just cannot swallow that story that so many White Anglo Saxon Protestants believe, for it is a fabrication to cover up the sin of Henry VIII and England (Anglican Church). As a result of that sin, they were excommunicated from the Catholic Church. War Veterans and the fallen vs. the Martyrs and Saints of the Catholic Church That is another place where I feel a little bit of concern. In the Catholic Faith we have had thousands of Martyrs and Saints. That is the history of the Church, and it started with John the Baptist, followed by Christ himself, and, the first of all martyrs, Steven. Most recently, we had the Spanish Civil War, where the Communist massacred thousands of religious and lay people (the US sent troops to help the Communists fight against the “ caudillo” Franco, by the way). Another big massacre of Christian Catholics was in the Cristero War in Mexico in the 1920's. Stalin, the Russian Communist beast, also executed more that 30 millions for religious dissidence (The US sided, together with England, with the Communists of Staling and the USSR, giving him all of Eastern Europe in the pact). A few decades later, God delivered those nations from the hand of the Beast through His Holiness Pope John Paul II. So, my war veterans and Saints are those that have been persecuted because they were Catholics. Even today, in Communist China, there are many Catholic Bishops that live in secrecy and hiding from the Chinese Government. There is persecution of Catholic Chinese people today. They are martyrs and I hold them dearly in my heart. So, you see, I cannot worship and give reverence only to those that have fallen for the US and what the US stands for, its ideals and freedom. Why? Because, I also have my Saints and Martyrs long before the USA even existed. In addition, all of those ideals of freedom and liberty the USA has, come from the Catholic Church itself. There is a document called declaration Dominus Iesus that was published in 1999 by then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Prefect for the Congregation of the Doctrine of Faith, and singed by Pope John Paul II. That document clearly states that Salvation comes from Christ and it is given to the World via the Holy Spirit through the Catholic Church, which is the ONLY Church of Christ. So, if anything good is in any Christian Congregation (protestants), or in any other group of religious people, and even nations; it comes from and through the Catholic Church. In other words: WE ARE THE THE ONES! You can read that document on your own. I must add that the declaration Dominus Iesus created a lot of controversy when it was published to dissenters. Nevertheless, I exult that document for it dismantles exacerbated nationalisms throughout the world by means of centering the source of all good in Christ the Lord and his only Church. What does all of these mean? It means that I already have a Kingdom. I consider myself a citizen of the most powerful kingdom, not only on Earth, but on the whole universe. My Kingdom was established 2000 years ago by Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, the Christ, the Only Son of God; thus, God himself. I am an ambassador of his Kingdom as a result of my baptism. As my duty, I invite everybody to conversion. I consecrate everywhere I walk, and everybody I meet, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (I claim for God everything at my reach). As a result, I am a blessing for America together with the Catholic Church. We are the answer and the solution, we are the Salvation of Christ on Earth. We are the Catholic Church. “Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.” (last sentence intended to be humorous and based upon the Borg, a science fiction character). So, my movement is much more that the AZTLAN movement of the Latinos and the Cosmic Race (la Raza Cósmica) of Vasconcelos. My movement is much more than the RECONQUISTA of America. My movement is more than a mere movement that was born a couple of centuries ago. It is the Millennial Reign of the Messiah on Earth, and it started 2008 years ago. Thus, we exercise our Kingship of Earth through prayer everyday in Mass. We are already ruling the Earth. It is currently happening! That is the main difference with those movements and us, for they will, or might, or not, be; we, on the other hand, are. Therefore, how can I substitute the pride I posses with any other pride a nation of the world can offer me. Not even the USA in all of its might can attempt to match the Power of the Church of Christ, which is the Catholic Church. We have been around for 20 Centuries, and we will be around until the END OF THE WORLD. Perhaps, now you can understand my message. I am not preaching only a religion, I am preaching a Kingdom. I am preaching the Kingdom of Christ, who is God himself. People that do not have what we Catholics have, a supranational kingdom that encompasses the whole Earth; have exacerbated Nationalisms. In other words, those that do not have a Christian Faith that preaches a mighty Kingdom such as the one the Catholic Faith teaches; are very troubled when they hear my predication. I am not anti-American. I am not anti-Governments of the world. What happens is that, like the Prophet Daniel in the Old Testament, I cannot give the reverence I give to God and Christ's Kingdom to an earthly kingdom. Why? Because they do not deserve it, they have not earned it. The kingdoms of earth are not the Kingdom of God, they all fall short. That is my Catholicism: Before I am a Mexican, I am a Catholic. Before I am a Spaniard, I am a Catholic. Before I am an American, I am a Catholic. It is not that I despise any of those nations. However, I must prioritize. I am a Citizen of Heaven, and I hold that citizenship far and above all other citizenships. I must conclude that you are indeed lucky to have me in your midst, for I am a fruit of blessing amongst you. We, the Catholic Church, are of great blessing amongst you. However, I must warn you: you must not curse at us, for there is a blessing/curse upon us Catholics. It is in the book of Genesis, chapter 12, verse 3. Blessings and curses will revert back to you in the same proportional way. That is the way in which we govern the world as rulers on behalf of God and his Christ. Does this sound bizarre? Does this sound crazy? Indeed, for this is as crazy as too believe that the Throne of God is here on Earth, right now! Do you know where is it that he is sitting right now ruling the World? He is in EVERY CHURCH in the EUCHARIST. I am not talking figurative speech, nor this is a metaphor. It is literal, as it sounds. God himself, Christ, is truly and uniquely present, in soul and DIVINITY, his Flesh and Blood, in the Eucharist. That is the Faith of the Church. This is much bigger than the historical and Biblical Ark of the Covenant Moses had in the tents in the desert. This is the true Shekinah of God, the Glory of God the almighty and all merciful. That is the Eucharist, the presence of God on Earth. The place where Heaven touches Earth. The Throne of God on Earth. That is my Catholic faith, what you have just read above. I have been threatened to death because of my faith. I have been threatened with incarceration because of my faith. I have been threatened to be locked up in high risk facility for the mentally ill because of my faith. Nevertheless, I will keep on going and will keep on writing whether they like it or not. I have already written one book, so far. I am a published author since 1998. The Catholic Church published my book and testimony through Editorial Religion y Cultura of the Augustinian Community of Madrid, Spain. You can read a version on line. (http://www.jeaf.com/sectas/) In that particular book, I talk about my Incursion in the Sects, for I was a minister in an Evangelical Church sponsored from the US. In that "church," we used to call the Catholic Church the Whore of Babylon (As was reported in CNN McCain's pastor had said to his "church"). In the discourse in the "evangelical church" (sect). We used to say the Pope was the False Prophet depicted in the Book of Revelation. We also used to say that Europe was the Kingdom of the Apocalyptic Beast, who was supposedly Spanish King Don Juan Carlos or his son, who was the Antichrist. Those are the things we used to preach in the “name of Anglo Christianity.” Chick publications, an American Editorial, was our source of information, as well as other books and ministers. Nevertheless, we used to brainwash ourselves (AKA neuroliguistical programming) claiming we were actually preaching the Bible. That was not so, for we were preaching a message of Hate against the Catholic Church (what WASP usually do). In that book I wrote, I also tell the story of how our group was instrumental in getting the Presidency of a Nation to one of the leaders of our group. His name is Jorge Elias Serrano, and he became president of Guatemala. In the end, I left the sect and returned to the Catholic Church. I had a story to tell. I must confess it felt as if it was counter espionage. Thus, I told the story, and the Church published it. You can read it here. It is in Spanish.
