FOAM PLANE
COMMENTS:
Like the Wright Brothers, it has only flown a couple of feet of the
ground. The C.G. is off. I am trying to fix it. The wind surface is 1000
sq cm. The engine (280) falls short. I added more wing (1500 sq cm.), but
it did not solve the issue. Control wise is great, very stable during take
of, with a combined rudder and ailerons on the same servo (great
innovation).
I will try to adjust the CG so that I do not have to compensate with
the elevator, which is currently slowing down the plane once it takes off.
If that does not work, I will work on the wing's profile. As soon as there
is success, I will let you know.
