About the Catholic Professional and Business ClubThe Catholic Professional and Business Club of Merced, California is a membership organization that meets on the second Thursday of each month excluding July, August and December.. The Club provides speakers who are successful leaders in their field; men and women with a message to encourage and motivate our members to live an exemplary Catholic lifestyle in their own business and personal environments. Our members are given an opportunity to share their faith, network, and deepen their relationship with God. The CP&BC meetings take place at St. Patrick's Parish Hall in Merced. Exceptions will be publicized in advance. Breakfast meetings begin at approximately 7:30 am and the program at 8:00 am. Lunch meetings begin at 12:00 Noon. Mike Gallo who was appointed first president of the Merced Chapter, Merced , California , formed the fourth Chapter May 14, 1998. 175 guests attended the first meeting with Bishop John T. Steinbock as their first speaker. As of March 2006 the National Catholic Professional and Business organization has 13 Chapters with 7 Chapters in the formation process.
