John Abbate will be our featured speaker.
John is a Merced native and a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy School and
Merced High School. He graduated from the University of San Diego with a
degree in economics and has an MBA with a concentration in finance from
the University of Notre Dame. John and his family own 20 McDonald’s
Restaurants throughout the central valley. John and his wife Kaaren have
three children – Matthew, Kathryn and Andrew.
John will share his personal faith story
and how he is trying to bring faith and spirituality into his life’s
work.. He is currently involved in a number of community projects
including Mary’s Mantle Maternity Homes, Mercy Hospital, the Dream
Program, and Re-Discovering Catholicism.
